Effluent Re-Use

In all wastewater plants, one of the most important factors related to costs is the usage of water, either to clean or as an aid to transport chemicals. At JES, we have used innovative approaches to save costs for the client. We have produced water clean enough for re-use by pumping effluent to chemical tanks, effluent used to clean belt presses, screens and clarifier surfaces. Over the course of one year, the water saved is estimated to be in excess of several million gallons.
